![]() ![]() New members will begin by singing the ordinary (i.e., Kyrie, Gloria, Agnus, Sanctus, Ite) plus the Marian chant hymn and English hymn sung after Mass. This music varies greatly according to level of difficulty, and those who would like to join this choir are not expected to have immediate mastery of all levels. We sing the Gregorian chant propers from the Graduale Romanum, 1962 or 1955 edition, a Latin Mass ordinary, polyphonic selections from the Church’s treasury of sacred music, and chant hymns, as well as a vernacular (English) hymn after Mass. This choir rehearses on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Latin Mass choir sings for the Mass celebrated every Sunday at noon and on various high feasts.
